At a certain part in your life. Probably when too much of it has gone by. You will open your eyes and see yourself for who you are. Especially for everything that made you so different from all the awful normals. And you will say to yourself, “But I am this person.” And in that statement, that correction, there will be a kind of love. -Phoebe in Wonderland
I have always been a solitary practitioner, more in tune with the cycles of the moon than the days of the week. In college, I met a sister of the wheel who gave me the courage to openly mark myself as a witch.
When you wear your marks at the wrist, you invite questions and often I am tongue tied to express the full meaning of my moons. In starting a new blog, I wanted to share my practice and connect with a virtual coven. My path is rooted in daily hedgecraft to create connections and live in completed cycles. I try to celebrate the wheel of the year with personalized rituals. I do my best work under a new moon when you the potential for growth is at its highest. Full moons make me long for release and feel too exposed in the light.
You can find me in on Pinterest under depechealamode and Twitter @depeche_alamode. Each week of 2014 I will be adding an entry for the Pagan Blog Project.
